  • Melbourne University Launch

    The launch of IdeaPitch 2011 will take place on the 1st of September, 2011 from 3:15PM to 5:15PM at 207 Bouverie St: Theatre 2. Teams looking to gain insights into the competition are highly encouraged to attend this event. Also, there will prizes to be given to guests.

    The event will feature Glen Carlson as the keynote speaker.

  • Monash Launch

    IdeaPitch 2011 will also feature a launch event in Monash University, Caulfield campus. Teams looking to gain insights into the competition are highly encouraged to attend this event. Also, there will prizes to be given away.

    This launch will feature Amir Nissen as the event's keynote speaker.

  • Workshops

    IdeaPitch 2011 will run two workshops to assist those participating in the competition. Workshop 1 is also opened to anyone interested.

    Workshop 1: Idea Generation
    Speaker: Amir Nissen
    When: September 6th
    Where: UoM. Arts West-G13 (Theatrette 3)

    Workshop 2: Idea Refinement & Pitching
    Speaker: Glen Carlson
    When: 2:15PM - 4:15PM, October 4th
    Where: Multi-Function Room, Level 1, The Spot, Melbourne University

  • Interview Round

    This round consists of a 60 second pitch followed by an interview conducted by the organisers of IdeaPitch. Teams will be notified of the exact time of their interview. Note that to be considered for this round, teams must submit their idea by midnight, on the 11th of September.

    When: 19th September - 2nd October
    Where: Level 3 The Spot, Melbourne University

  • Final Round

    Teams will have roughly 60 seconds to pitch their idea to an IdeaPitch volunteer in an elevator. The pitch will be recorded and played at the closing ceremony in front of a panel of judges. Teams will be informed of the exact time at least one week prior to the date.

  • Closing Ceremony

    The closing ceremony of IdeaPitch 2011 will involve a talk from our platinum sponsor, Get Started, as well as the conclusion to the competition. Prizes to the winners of the competition will also be awarded. All the videos of the finalists’ would also be showcased.
